In our opinion too much time is spent thinking about the motor and not enough thinking about the propeller. It's the propeller that makes the boat move not the motor.
Torque is our jam
Torque is a rotational force, the greater the torque, the greater the force. A high torque motor can easily turn a large prop. Torque is exactly the same force needed to open a stubborn jam jar.
Going against the flow
Force applied gently over a large area is more effective on water than a harshly applied force in a small area. Choose a propeller, then a motor to turn it for the most efficient solution for your boat.
