In our opinion too much time is spent thinking about the motor and not enough thinking about the propeller. It's the propeller that makes the boat move not the motor.

Torque is our jam

Torque is a rotational force, the greater the torque, the greater the force. A high torque motor can easily turn a large prop. Torque is exactly the same force needed to open a stubborn jam jar.

Going against the flow

Force applied gently over a large area is more effective on water than a harshly applied force in a small area. Choose a propeller, then a motor to turn it for the most efficient solution for your boat.

Our Installation Process

Engine Room Assesment

It very much depends on whether your boat is a new build or a retrofit. That said every boat is different. We can work from plans, photos or drawings to see if your boat is suitable. If there is still doubt we can visit in person.

Motor Installation and Configuration

The motors will come already commisioned. We do this in our workshop to suit your boat. Regarding installation, we come from a boat builder background and we want to make it as straight forward as we believe it should be.

Final Testing

Easy next step. Once fixed in position and connected to a power source the motor will be ready to test. Again we can come out to you to verify the installation. If there is any need to tweak setting, we can do this during the call out.
