Vessel Display Software V2.5.2 Released
Törkmar announces the availability of version 2.5.2 of the Vessel Display software for the Victron Cerbo/Ekrano GX for all existing customers. The main changes included in this version are:
- Support for remote control of Kohler Generators, including display of output voltage and visual indication of charging status
- Visual display of shore-power availability
- Solar dump reimplemented as a service instead of using node red for better performance, simpler software installation and better reliability (introduced in V2.4)
- Remote control of marine diesel heaters from the user interface e.g. Eberspacher/Webasto (Introduced in V2.3)
The following minor enhancements are also included in this release:
- Improved reliability for installations and software updates using both the USB key and online update mechanisms
- UI layout optimized to allow the additional features
This update can be performed using the online update option from and 2.x.x version or USB key install, any existing customers requiring a USB key install should contact their boatbuilder or Törkmar. Please note that this release has not been extensively tested on older releases at this point and it primarily intended for customers wishing to use it on releases 3.60 and later (though it should work on earlier versions).
