Vessel Display Software Version 2.2 Released
Törkmar announces the availability of version 2.2 of the Vessel Display software for the Victron Cerbo/Ekrano GX for all existing customers. The main changes included in this version are:
- New CANOpen Motordrive submenu for Venus GX releases 3.70 onwards to scan for motor controllers using the new Curtis CanOpen driver co-developed with Törkmar
- To use the new driver, select the new VE.Can & CANopen E-Drive (250kbit/s) driver option for the VE.Can port connected to the motor controller. This will now appear in the new CANOpen Motordrive sub-menu in the Törkmar settings which will allow the user to initiate a scan to connect to the motor controller (which must be switched on)
The following minor enhancements are also included in this release:
- Improvements to the USB install scripts to improve installation reliability when an older release is already installed
- General improvements to the install scripts to better recover from unexpected errors
- Change “Heater” name to “Immersion” for the solar dump feature to prepare for the addition of boat heater control in a future release

This update can be performed using the online update option from and 2.x.x version or USB key install, any existing customers requiring a USB key install should contact their boatbuilder or Törkmar. Please note that this release has not been extensively tested on older releases at this point and it primarily intended for customers wishing to use it on releases 3.60 and later (though it should work on earlier versions).
