Vessel Display Software Version 2.0 Now Available

The New Vessel Display Hub Screen

Törkmar announces the availability of version 2.0 of the Vessel Display software for the Victron Cerbo/Ekrano GX for all existing customers. The main changes included in this version are:

  • New custom ‘Hub’ display to replace the standard Victron Hub. This is optimized for electric narrowboats and wide-beams clearly showing the battery status as well as the charging and depleting electric flows.
  • Replacement for the Victron Tank level display with clearer visuals for the likely tank configurations on an electric canal boat
  • Ability to control the Quattro mode from the new hub screen. This displays whether the inverter and charger portions of the Quattro are enabled and when selected allows the user to enable/disable them with a single touch
  • Support for Victron Cerbo/Ekrano GX firmware 3.60 which introduced an incompatible version of the GUI framework.  Older versions of the Vessel Display software will not function on GX 3.60 and above (release notes).
  • Add settings to enable/disable the custom Törkmar Tank and Hub screens
  • Initial support for the Törkmar ‘solar dump’ function for vessels that had this option installed. This will show whether the solar dump is active and whether heating the hot water tank. Note that this requires the ‘Node Red’ solar dump logic to be updated and is considered a beta feature at this point.

This major update must be done using a USB key install, any existing customers wishing to take advantage of the new features should contact their boatbuilder or Törkmar.
