The shore power connection is a critical component of your marine electrical system. The Törkmar system uses the Ratio MP16 Shore Power Inlet. Manufacturers craft these inlets from solid cast marine-grade 316 stainless steel, which provides exceptional resistance to corrosion from the harsh boat environment. Every inlet includes an easy-locking waterproof cap, guaranteeing a high-quality, IP56 waterproof connection. The unit proudly carries the CE marking.

Compliance and Safety Standards

ISO13297 sets the requirements for installing electrical systems on craft up to 24 metres in hull length. The Törkmar system design strictly follows this standard. This adherence ensures your installation meets rigorous marine industry requirements for safety and performance.

Protecting Your Circuit

The system includes a breaker enclosure that safely houses a 16A RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection). This enclosure guarantees a correct and safe breaker installation. Furthermore, the Törkmar design places this 16A double-pole RCBO directly between the isolation transformer and the shore power inlet. This provides enhanced protection and reliable power control.

Quality AC Cabling

The system supplies 7 metres of AC System H07 RNF Type cable. This heavy-duty, flexible cable complies with EN50525-2-21. The cable ensures a robust and reliable connection for your main alternating current circuits.
