Törkmar semi-flexible solar panels are designed for seamless integration on a narrowboat’s steel roof. Measuring 1400mm x 833mm, they fix directly to the surface, creating a flush, uniform array. This design not only enhances the boat’s aesthetics but also allows for excellent water drainage, preventing ponding on the roof.

Designed for Your Boat

For practical reasons and a clean look, these panels feature a rear-mounted junction box. Individual panels can be joined to cover the entire roof. If a vent or other feature is needed, a fiberglass insert can be used to break the array, maintaining a single-level surface for practicality and aesthetics.

Longevity and Durability

Törkmar solar panels are built to a very high specification for a long service life. The panels have an epoxy fiberglass substrate and an ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) coating, known for its toughness. This durable construction allows the panels to be walked on without damage, a key feature for narrowboat owners.
