A solar panel designed specifically for narrowboats. They are tough, performant and don’t suffer from reduced efficiency in high temperatures. Importantly for a narrowboat roof these panels can be walked on with rubber soled shoes.
Aesthetics and Integration
Törkmar semi-flexible solar panels are designed for seamless integration on a narrowboat’s steel roof. Measuring 1400mm x 833mm, they fix directly to the surface, creating a flush, uniform array. This design not only enhances the boat’s aesthetics but also allows for excellent water drainage, preventing ponding on the roof.
Designed for Your Boat
For practical reasons and a clean look, these panels feature a rear-mounted junction box. Individual panels can be joined to cover the entire roof. If a vent or other feature is needed, a fiberglass insert can be used to break the array, maintaining a single-level surface for practicality and aesthetics.
Longevity and Durability
Törkmar solar panels are built to a very high specification for a long service life. The panels have an epoxy fiberglass substrate and an ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) coating, known for its toughness.
