Best Practice Adhesive Solution
We use Tackcon Superflex adhesive 600ml to mount our semi-flexible solar panels. We worked with Beko Labs in Germany to develop this method. It provides a bond that is both strong and flexible.
Why Flexibility is Key
Flexibility prevents damage to your panels. In hot weather, your boat’s deck expands while the solar panels do not. This adhesive absorbs that movement. It ensures your panels are never stretched or harmed.
About Tackcon Superflex
Tackcon Superflex is a single-component adhesive and sealant. It reacts with moisture to cure quickly. You can apply it easily with a standard cartridge gun. This product seals and bonds at the same time for many different uses.
Installation Tips
- Prep: Clean all key surfaces and the work area with Allclean or a similar degreaser.
- Apply: Spread the adhesive using a 2mm square notched spreader.
- Set: Apply even weight across the panels.
- Clean: Wipe away any excess adhesive using Allclean.
